I write love stories, because I live a love story that inspires me every day. Together with my wife, author Bridget Essex, for over a decade and married for over eight years, we are madly and passionately in love, and build a good, cozy life together with several fur babies who get away with murder because they’re so adorable.
Bridget and I founded Rose and Star Press in 2014, a publisher of lesbian romance and fiction of distinction. Lesbian romance is my life’s work, and I hope very much that you enjoy my stories. 🙂

I’m Ruby and I’m so excited to share my stories with you. I’ve been writing stories since forever. My first was about a magical talking cat who had these crazy adventures. My stories don’t have talking cats anymore, but I still love an adventure. When I was in college, I courted this amazing girl in college by dragging her on these crazy hikes through the woods on the edge of campus. Climbing over logs was really just an excuse to have to hold her hand and help her over obstacles. It’s more than ten years later now, and we recently celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary and the crazy adventures just kept getting bigger and better.

My name is Marian Snowe, and I write stories about true love between women. I’ve been writing stories of all shapes and sizes since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Nothing makes me happier than being able to tell a good story, except for knowing that my story has brought a smile to someone else’s face. Some of my favorite things that inspire my books are discovering new ghost stories, learning about local myths and legends, and perusing photographs from urban explorers and old ghost towns.
